Color and wire up your own minature Mars Rover powered by the sun! Learn the basics of solar circuitry while becoming familiar with how some of these vehicles are structured. A 2V solar cell connects directly to a self-stick vibrating motor causing the Rover to vibrate and skitter around when placed in direct sunlight. We recommend personalizing your Solar Mars Rover by painting or coloring the cardstock before assembly. Follow our step-by-step guides to get started! Kit contains enough materials to complete four solderless projects.

Create a Solar Powered Mars Rover that moves with this fun filled STEM project!

Learn about solar energy by creating a simple solar circuit in minutes using only conductive tape! Cut out your Mars Rover, decorate it, then add your solar cell and vibrating motor! All parts are connected with our special Maker Tape conductive tape, perfect for younger students. Once built these bots will move around in the sun, and best of all they'll never run out of power!

The Classroom Set comes with supplies for 25 full Solar Mars Rovers. Student activity pages and lesson plans can be found on our website.
