Origami Circuits Classroom Kit – STEAM Learning for Kids

Bring your paper crafts to life! A perfect opportunity to put the “A” in STEAM education or hobby projects, these kits include all you need to blend concepts related to the centuries-old paper craft of Japanese Origami with circuitry! Use solderless pathways created by our exclusive conductive Maker TapeTM and the included circuitry components to make your folded masterpiece light up and/or move. Origami Circuits are a great way to teach engineering, motors, circuitry, electricity and ART all at once! Kit contains enough materials for at least five individual projects.

Bring your paper crafts to life with these engaging STEM kit!

By adding LEDs and self-sticking motors we're able to create 3D paper craft projects that move, light up, and blink! This is a great way to teach art, design, engineering, and basic electronics. Create your own project from scratch or use one of many free projects and templates. 

These kits include everything you need to get started. Our self sticking vibrating motors are the prefect solution for any paper or cardboard based project. We include our huge 10mm Jumbo LEDs as well as naturally blinking red LEDs to help jazz up your project. Our nylon conductive Maker Tape is flexible, durable, and makes connecting components easy. Take things one step further and use Maker Tape on a shirt or fabric based project for a simple wearable project!

Standard vs Classroom

The Standard Kit is intended for a single user or small group activities and includes enough parts for at least five projects, whereas the Classroom Set includes enough components for at least 25 projects. The Standard Kit also includes one card stock robot template, users of the Classroom Set can print off the robot template from our Project Database.

• 1 Roll of Maker Tape (1/4th inch at 16 feet long)
