DIY Mini Solar House Kit – Eco Build for All Ages

Go Solar! As our everyday electricity production shifts to include more and more renewable sources, growing a familiarity with technologies associated with these sources is becoming increasingly relevant. Our new Solar House kit allows learners to assemble a miniature house using lazer-cut wooden pieces that they can then wire up to a solar panel and wind turbine. Learning the basics of circuitry while focusing on modern renewable energy sources doesn’t get easier! This reusable kit contains materials for one Solar House (appropriate for groups of one to three).

Overview

The Solar House is a non-soldering solar project that you build yourself!

We designed the Solar House Kit as the perfect companion project for solar based learning. It requires no tools to assemble, is easy to wire up using our special conductive tape, and can be used again and again. Light up LEDs, power the motor, create switches, and assemble your house.

The Solar House features a robust 6V solar panel that can light up the included LEDs or can power the motor + fan. Just stick the Solar House in moderate sunlight and watch the fun! In some situations it'll even work with artificial light, provided you have a strong enough light source. For extra fun, the motor + fan can be turned into a power source and used to light LEDs!
