AFCEA Educational Foundation Gravely & Paige Grants for STEM Teachers FY25
The AFCEA Educational Foundation provides funding to U.S. elementary or secondary/intermediate schools to promote STEM innovation in the classrooms. Grants will be up to $2,000 for awarded STEM programs/projects.
To be eligible, teachers applying for the grant must be teaching a science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) subject at a elementary or secondary/intermediate school in the United States and be a U.S. citizen. Teachers working in schools with economically disadvantaged students will be considered first. The awards are available to public and private schools.
Grants are awarded on a rolling basis.
SAXENA Foundation
The Saxena Family Foundation is a privately funded, 501(c) (3) registered non-profit charitable foundation headquartered in Austin, Texas. The Foundation awards grants and supports programs that have a particular focus on S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education and around empowering women in the United States and in India.
The Foundation anticipates most grants will be in the $5,000-$50,000 range.
Grant applications can be submitted throughout the year, and are reviewed by the Selection Committee as they are received.
National Lieutenant Governor’s Association STEM Scholarship Program 2024 APPLICATION PERIOD is open, January 27 – March 7, 2025
NLGA annually awards a scholarship to 12 different schools for STEM-related projects in the classroom. Teachers or project advisors in state-accredited public, private, or tribal pre-K – 12th grade schools may apply for a scholarship to further STEM education through a project, equipment, program, or curriculum. Eight schools across the country will be awarded $1,000 each and four schools will be awarded $500 each.

STEM Action Grants
The Society’s STEM Action Grant is designed to award innovative organizations using creative solutions to do work that supports our mission—work that takes action to inform, educate and inspire people from all walks of life to pursue scientific endeavors.
Please complete this application to tell us about your organization and the work you do, and how the Society’s funding will support your goals. Our external evaluators will review all submissions after the deadline and applicants will be notified in about 4-6 weeks. Funding decisions are at the discretion of the Society.
