Our "Sphero Fun Mat 3" provides a sports themed set of challenges in which you can use one or more Spheros to play familiar sports games. Students will be challenged to adapt games they know to the Sphero system. Your students will be provided with a great platform of learning and mastering Sphero. Some examples of what can you do with this mat?

  • Ready to play soccer? Get a ping pong ball and get 2-4 Spheros on the field. Can you dribble the ball into goal? Work on passing the ball and controlling it. Pass it from the green marker to the green markers. Then the red markers. Shoot goals from from each marker then put a Sphero in the white circle and one at the goal and try to shoot for the game.
  • Let's play some baseball. Then get ready to run the bases. Use your Spheros (2-4) and your ping pong balls to push the ball to the batter. Bounce the ball into the field and then run the bases. Can you score more runs? Practice 'throwing' the ball from the outfield to the plate. Have a Sphero run the bases and try to tag it with the ball. Pass the ball from base to base.
  • Then let's  play basketball. Dribble the ball to the basket. Pass the ball from the green markers to other green markers then do the same for the other colors. Put a Sphero in the the free throw white circle and take three shots without leaving the circle. Then play with 2-4 Spheros and take at least to passes before shooting.

  • Then get ready for Football! Warm up the pigskin and run for the goal. Can you move the ball to the goal line with the blockers trying to stop you?  Hand off the ball to the three matching color markers for a trick play before rolling to the goal. Then kickoff from the goal to the down-field and let the other team try to score without getting tagged. Work hard and you can make the draft!
