Similar to our standard wobble cushion, the mini wiggle seat is designed for preschool, and younger primary school-aged children. It is used by many educators, and parents, to help calm children, and keep them focused on the task at hand. One side of the disc features raised nubs, for children that prefer the sensory input that the nubs provide. The other side is entirely smooth for those that don't enjoy the tactile input. The simple act of sitting on the disc activates and strengthens core abdominal and trunk muscles. Many Professionals also use balance discs in many different sensory and balancing exercises. They are also utilized as visual floor seats during floor-based activities.
