The MAKERSPACER DIY Line uses advanced mathematical design with simple to use laser cut wooden parts to create a fun and easy to use design experience. Accompanying the series is a detailed theory book. This resource extends beyond simple assembly instructions to offer a deep dive into the models’ technical and scientific principles. It’s packed with enjoyable activities that align with the series’ themes, fostering key 21st-century skills. Through this comprehensive approach, ENGINO® aims to deliver an educational experience that is both enriching and transformative, equipping learners with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving world. The laser-cut wooden surfaces are connected in stacked formation to create a solid working rotating globe with a hand cranked gear system. When shining a flashlight upon the globe, and turning the lever, the pattern of day and night can be displayed. Since the globe is tilted, when changing the location of the flashlight the different seasons can be demonstrated. The finished device is 19 cm long and 18.5 cm tall.
