The Eisco Labs Rheostat is a versatile electrical component designed for electrical resistance. The rheostat has a standard resistance of 280 Ohms, allowing you to fine-tune the current flow in your circuit. It features a robust design with a vitreous enameled steel tube wound with heavily oxidized constantan (Copper-Nickel Alloy) wire. This construction ensures durability and reliable performance. The heavy-duty sliding contact is crafted from phosphor bronze and nickel plated, providing excellent corrosion resistance. This contact allows you to smoothly adjust the resistance by sliding along the wire coil. The rheostat is equipped with 2.4 mm terminal posts, making it compatible with conventional 4 mm plugs. These posts facilitate easy external connections to your circuit setup.
