• Clear polycarbonate top on a chemical-resistant white polypropylene bottom
• The internal groove on the flange holds a silicone rubber O-ring (I.D.: 200 mm, Flange O.D.: 232 mm)
• Fitted with a polypropylene stopcock with a self-lubricating PTFE plug which allows a controlled entrance of air preventing unnecessary turbulence
• ‘Flat Dome,’ clear polycarbonate top with a large, ribbed knob that maximizes interior clearances

The desiccator holds a full vacuum at room temperature for 24 hours and will remain airtight even if not under vacuum. Autoclavable. A common use for desiccators is to protect chemicals that are hygroscopic or that react with water from humidity. Used for preserving moisture-sensitive items.
