This 473ml volume Leyden Jar demonstrates that a charge is stored in the dielectric (insulator) and not in metal surfaces. Consists of 2 aluminum conductors, one inner and one outer, polystyrene dielectric jar which fits snugly between aluminum charge rod with electrode ball which screws onto inner conductor.
