Housed in a tough clear plastic so that the internal working can be easily viewed. This serves a dual purpose as it demonstrates the transformation of mechanical energy into electrical energy and as a DC generator to produce 6V DC when the adaptor (included) with a 20"wire with alligator clips on the end is inserted. It can also be used as a hand cranked flashlight due to a mounted bulb which lights when cranked. Extra bulb is included.
