This kit is designed for 28 students working in groups of four.KEMTEC’s Analysis of Documents Kit provides students the opportunity of doing physical as well as chemical analysis of writing materials — paper, ink, pencil, typewriter and the determination of authorship. When a document such as a will or check is found at the scene of a crime, it is important to determine its authenticity. Was the document altered, and if so, by whom and why? Careful analysis of documents could indicate obvious erasures, abnormal positioning of signature, use of different inks, differences in handwriting or typing. The analysis could lead to a confirmation of the authenticity of the document, or just the contrary. Designed for 28 students working in groups of four. Grades 6-12.
